texas museumINTERRELIGIOUS DIALOG - The Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance Dallas has created the Cardinal Kevin J. Farrell Upstander Award, which will be awarded personalities distinguished for their action in defense of human rights, against racial hatred and prejudice and for spreading knowledge about the Holocaust. The first edition of the prize was awarded to Card. Farrell himself, who sent a video-message in which he thanked the organizers and said that, now more than ever, it is necessary to work committedly so that all people may realize that we are part of one family: “We must unite and help each other to create a better world for all.”

Dallas Auxiliary Bishop Greg Kelly, who accepted the award on behalf of Card. Farrell, pointed out how the award unifies Texas Christians and Jews.
