USG-UISGEDUCATION - The Education Committee of the Unions of General Men and Women Superiors announces the upcoming celebration of its sixth Seminar of TRAINING OF EDUCATORS. It's a Seminar which is held annually in Rome, intended for responsible for education of the General Curias, members of the General and Provincial Councils and the different national or regional responsible of our educational institutions who are interested.

This year 2017 the Seminar will focus on the theme of "youth, faith and vocation discernment", which has been chosen by the Pope Francis for the next Synod of Bishops. 1) Days: December 1 and 2 2017.

a) December 1st, Friday, 09'00 to 19'00 hours b) December 2, Saturday, 08'30 to 13'00 hours

2) Place: General House of Salle La (Via Aurelia 476) in Rome

3) Objectives:
a) To reflect on the major issues raised by the Pope to the next Synod, always from the point of view of the Charism and Mission of our Congregations.
b) To develop proposals that can be sent to the Secretariat of the Synod to be taken into account in the work of the Synod.

4) Invited:

a) The keynote speaker will be Fr. Arturo Sosa SJ, General Superior of the Society of Jesus.
b) We will count with the presence of four experts in educational, pastoral and social work with young people, who are fully dedicated to this day by day.
c) We will also count with the help of eight young people from different countries, religious and lay people, which will make their contributions from their own point of view.
